    Job Objective: Ensure all prescriptions are filled in correct packaging according to facility and/or patient preference, without error, and in a timely manner.


     


    Responsibilities:



    • Fill correct medication, completing the production quota assigned

    • Correctly route the completed bubble pack for pharmacist review

    • Maintain correct inventory level for assigned work station to prevent drug outs

    • Occasional stocking of inventory as directed

    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Requirements:


    At least 1 years of Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, hospital, and/or long term care


    Must have a current and active pharmacy technician license in the State of Minnesota; National Certification is preferred


    Experience packaging medications in a fast-paced environment


    Excellent computer skills, including pharmacy operating system (QS/1 preferred)


    Excellent verbal and written communication skills


    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal pleasantly with customers


     


    Flexible rotating schedule required – full time (40 hours a week) position

    8 or 10 hr. shifts available schedule Monday-Friday and a rotation of working one weekend a month


    *Schedule is subject to change based on the needs of the pharmacy.


    Ability to work assigned shift punctual and on-time.
