Evaluates/triages incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely and accurate entry into pharmacy operating system. Routes incoming calls to appropriate department/individual. Receives, processes and follows-up on all prescription requests.

- Pulling labels from printer and sorting into runs
- Correctly pulling medication to be filled
- Scanning labels and correct medication into Framework operating system
- Accurately filling and labeling cassette’s
- Checking final census, correctly toting, and preparing medications for final delivery
- Daily stocking of inventory as directed
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
Registered Pharmacy Technician in Iowa (national certification preferred) or willing to obtain license within 12 month period.
Pharmacy experience, preferably in high volume environment such as long-term care pharmacy operations, retail, mail order, and/or hospital.
Good computer skills
Must work accurately and efficiently to fill prescriptions in multiple dispensing modalities and ability to be 100% productive
Ability to problem solve, make decisions in fast-paced environment, and work to deadlines
Work quickly and efficiently to achieve all the daily tasks while supporting the culture, and at sometimes go above and beyond to support the team.
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D required
Flexible schedule required - Hours are subject to change, based on the needs of the pharmacy
Full-Time position working an 8hr. shift, rotating schedule with variable shifts
You will work between the hours of Monday-Friday 8:00am-7:00pm with one Saturday a month from 9am-3pm.
Ability to work assigned shift punctual and on-time.
