    Part-Time Driver is working 25-29 hours a week.

    SCHEDULE:

    Typically, shifts are Monday through Friday between 8 am-4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Will work holidays and on-call rotation.

     

    VEHICLE:

    Don’t put miles on your car beyond commuting to work.  You will drive our company vehicle for the assigned delivery route!

     

    JOB OBJECTIVE:

    Under the direction of the Supervisor, Delivery, work assigned routes with time-sensitive delivery requirements. Ensure all deliveries are accurate and timely. Comply with all Federal and Company privacy regulations regarding the safeguarding of patient information.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Follow most efficient and logical route for each run
    • Scan prescriptions into totes to ensure proper totting of product                                                                   
    • Assist with HME processing                                                                                                                                      
    • Check totes for assigned facilities to ensure order is complete prior to departure                                       
    • Deliver correct totes (approx. 25 lbs) to facilities in a timely manner                                                                
    • Pick-up return bags and refusals when required                                                                                                    
    • Complete all paperwork/filing requirements accurately at the end of each work shift                                    
    • Process dirty equipment according to company policy                                                                                          
    • Present a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times
    • Work with other team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed  
    • Monitor vehicle maintenance and advise supervisor when repairs/maintenance is required; take vehicles to be serviced as assigned                                                                                                                                          
    • Complete delivery assignments within the shift time assigned, while complying with all traffic regulations                                                                                                                                   
    • Follow instructions precisely related to patient privacy rules                                                                                  
    • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

    EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Valid Maine driver's license and good driving record. CDL license is not required.
    • Minimum of 1 year of driving experience                                                                                                                
    • Ability to read and follow directions/maps and to work to deadlines.                                               
    • Ability to use GPS, and hands-free cell phones.                                                                                           
    • Clean Driving Record with no moving violations within past two years                                                          
    • Clean Background Check and pass Drug Screen                                                                                                   
    • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines                                                                          
    • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate                  
    • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction                                                                                                 
    • Great attention to detail and accuracy                                                                                                             
    • Ability to work assigned shift punctual and on-time.

    • Willing to obtain a Maine Pharmacy Technician license and/or national certification
    • Computer skills: Willing to learn pharmacy operations software/systems

    Flexible Schedule Required:

    Hours of operation are subject to change based on the needs of the pharmacy
