    Lead Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician - Mallatt's Pharmacy

    Job Objective:

    Ensures all prescriptions are filled and toted accurately in the most efficient and timely manner. Manage daily technicians and cycle technicians to ensure adequate staffing/resources are available to meet business demands of Fulfillment department.

    • Schedules fulfillment technicians to ensure adequate coverage for workflow while keeping overtime low
    • Ensure each technician is fully trained on the operating systems and filling processes within 30 days of hire
    • Works with DOO to evaluate workflow processes and helps implement changes as necessary to meet deadlines, accuracy, and efficiency targets and the demands of the business
    • Ensure all medications for daily fill and cycle are complete and accurate prior to scheduled departures with sufficient time for the medications to be prepared for courier delivery
    • Ensure all deliveries are prepared and completed timely for courier pick up
    • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently
    • Work as needed on daily functions which may include, but is not limited to, filling, stocking, prepacking, and working with automation to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries
    • Assign and manage work volume appropriate to each technician’s duties, measuring both productivity and accuracy
    • Responsible to ensure run completion status (dashboard) is completed throughout the day
    • Provide weekly performance feedback of the departments to the Director, Pharmacy Operations
    • Ensure that all contingency boxes are stocked and exchanged to protocol
    • Lead by example in all areas of role and supporting the non-negotiable attributes; attitude, dependability, commitment, productivity, efficiency, and upholding policies, and procedures
    • Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed


    Education: High School Diploma or GED



    • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician License and/or National Certification preferred
    • 5+ years of related experience preferably in LTC/Long Term Care or a high-volume pharmacy (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
    • Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
    • Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
    • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
    • Great attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
    • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and work with DOO when something appears inaccurate

    Work Environment:

    Must occasionally lift up to 30 pounds

    Ability to work flexible hours; hours of operation are subject to change based on the needs of the pharmacy
