    Senior Manager, Marketing

     

    Position overview:

We’re looking for a super bright, energetic self-starter who wants to be a major contributor in a small, close knit crew – someone who loves a challenge, has a strong balance of communication and technology skills, who loves the art and metric-driven science of marketing, and knows how to use digital marketing strategies to connect with current customers and get new clients in the door.

     

    The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for supporting Guardian’s strategic and growth initiatives by leading product development, driving and developing customer messaging/collateral, and executing integrated demand generation campaigns for multiple verticals by employing the right mix of inbound and outbound and account-based marketing to optimize lead-to-opportunity deal funnel, drive profitable revenue, increase market share, and differentiate the brand in the marketplace.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead as product manager to implement new programs and initiatives for the field.
    • Manage and train marketing staff, maximize results through coordination with outside vendor partners, PR, advertising, tradeshow vendors etc.
    • Contribute to shaping marketing strategies and establish attainable goals for marketing team.
    • Coordinate with other Support Services departments and experts in the field to evaluate new potential service offerings.
    • Manage multiple marketing initiatives and programs, coordination and completion of project deliverables on time and within budget.
    • Set and manage marketing budget for recurring and ad hoc projects. Establish benchmarks for measuring success.
    • Develop Sales messaging and training tools to empower sales and account management in the field.
    • Understand competitive landscape, as well as complicated pharmacy distribution business.
    • Lead pilot programs for new service offerings, collecting feedback and data, summarizing findings and adjusting plan accordingly.
    • Manage website and digital properties, social media profiles, and LinkedIn marketing efforts.
    • Execute ad hoc projects when necessary to support key initiatives.

     

    Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree required. Marketing or related field preferred.
    • 7 to 10 years of progressive marketing experience.
    • Sales and/or Account management experience required.
    • Ability to solve problems with minimal direction. Great attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines.
    • Advanced presentation and communication skills required.
    • Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate.
    • Strong project management skills required: develop a plan and execute to achieve results on time.
